Crankshaft regrinding

Crankshafts are reground at Modus to a tight tolerence and a high quality polished finish applied. All oil holes are de-burred and the oil galleries cleaned with specialist brushes. Reground crankshafts are supplied with top quality bearings including race specification if required.

Crankshaft balancing

A full dynamic balancing service is offered for the rotating assembly, firstly the crankshaft itself is balanced followed by the flywheel and then the clutch cover.

We can also lighten your flywheel before balancing and static balance your con rods end to end.
